  • Since when is it O.K. for the judicial branch to again overstep its bounds into the legislative arena. It is a democracy people, he was elected, the state legislators acted & now you can't stand it that they made some tough decisions. Ridiculous.

  • You are an idiot. There is a difference between road signs & a text message. There are reasons why road signs are in different colors, sizes, placed in specific areas b/c of the studies.

  • Get this through your head transporation adminstrator: She put lives at risk whether or not the bus is in motion! What don't you get? She is responsible for the safety of children even if the vehicle is not in motion & she can't do that while texting.

  • as a director of transportation you need to do a better job. If she isn't paying attention to those kids while a train is passing & the vehicle is stopped than she isn't doing her job & you aren't doing yours.

  • what does this have to do w/ overprotecting our kids? you're comparing apples to dingleberries. The safety of 30 plus kids on a school bus w/ a driver who is definitely distracted vs. parents who want to make sure little Johnny can turn in his homework late & not get penalized for it.

  • A lot of school systems are trying to put rules in place to prevent texting & cell phone use in the classroom. You know who puts up the biggest fight, the parents. They are the biggest culprits & are often the ones texting their kids during classes. Its ridiculous.
